This is the stomach-churning moment a builder has his wounded finger drilled after he shut it in a door.

The shocking video filmed in Cobham, Surrey shows a man piercing his friend’s bloody wounded forefinger in a bid to release pressure.

In the video which was taken on December 23 the drill hovers over the tip of a builders finger which is filled with blood.

The injured man who seems surprised by his own actions, said: ‘Am I really doing this?’

The drill holder replied: ‘Yep.’

He then begins to start up the drill and shockingly pushes it into the injured man’s wound.

As the wound starts to ooze and release blood one of them said: ‘There it goes.’

At the end of the clip the wounded man even askes for a bit more drilling to help his injured finger.

He later wrote online: ‘Shut my finger in the front door and needed to drill it to release the pressure.’

Injuring areas such as fingers or toes can lead to a pressure build up causing pain under the nail.

It is recommended by doctors to put ice on the wound to decrease swelling naturally.

If the problem persists it is suggested that the patient visits a GP who can safely use a heated drill to pierce the nail safely.

It is not recommended to try to do it yourself.
