Many fans believe that Portugal can win Euro 2024 after a graphic of their incredible squad depth went viral.

Portugal won their first ever European Championship in 2016 and are now looking to secure glory again eight years later.

With a mixture of experienced players and talented youngsters at their disposal, Portugal could make a major impact at this summer’s tournament in Germany.

Portugal are in Group F at Euro 2024 along with Turkey, Georgia and Czech Republic.

Roberto Martinez will be hoping to guide his side to glory as he looks to make the most of the various options that are available to him. 

Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes is also part of a very talented Portugal squad

AC Milan’s Rafael Leao is another player in the Portugal squad who is very highly regarded

Portugal can still boast the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo in attack in what is likely to be his final involvement at the Euros.

Rafael Leao is also a key asset in addition to Pedro Neto, while Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes is in midfield along with Joao Palhinha and Vitinha.

Portugal’s first-choice defence at the tournament is likely to be comprised of Diogo Dalot, Ruben Dias, Antonio Silva and Joao Cancelo, with Diogo Costa behind them in goal.

Beyond the expected starting lineup, there are a host of other stars available to Martinez, including 41-year-old Pepe, Bernardo Silva, Diogo Jota, Ruben Neves and Joao Felix.

Given how many options Portugal possess, many fans believe they could win the tournament.

One user wrote on X: ‘Said it for a while – got a feeling they come very close to winning it’.

Another described Portugal as being ‘dark horses’. They wrote: ‘Defo dark horses can’t wait’.

Furthermore, another user stated that Portugal are ‘stacked in all positions’. They wrote: ‘Portugal I’ve been saying this are strong favourites to win the Euros they’re stacked with players in all positions’.

One user added that Portugal’s squad depth is ‘insane’. They wrote: ‘I mean if it all clicks & all works best believe they win the damn thing. That depth is insane yet alone the starting 11.’

Another user claimed that Portugal have the ‘best squad’ at the tournament. They wrote: ‘Said this from day one. Best squad by far’.
