A desperate search continues for a girl who’s been missing for a week.
Jalama Buchanan, 15, was last seen in Erskineville, in Sydney’s inner west, about 1.30pm on Christmas Eve.
Concerned loved ones alerted police four days later after failing to locate or make contact with Jalama.
NSW Police commenced inquiries into Jalama’s whereabouts and launched a public on Tuesday, a week after she went missing.
Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare.
Jalama is described as Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance.
She is 160cm tall, medium build with dark long hair.

She has been known to frequent Sydney’s inner-west and the NSW north coast.
Sydney suburbs include Redfern, Waterloo and Erskineville.
NSW north coast region include Casino, Wauchope, Coffs Harbour and Taree.
