But on Sunday, Greg Norman was dressed as the character with a nickname of an equally imposing aquatic predator- Mick ‘Crocodile’ Dundee.
The 62-year-old sports superstar fittingly chose to dress up as Paul Hogan’s famous film character for a party held at his golf club in Florida.

Greg took to Instagram to share a series of snaps from the event, accompanied by the caption: ‘Absolutely crazy great company Xmas party last night.’
The golfer perfectly replicated the signature outfit of Crocodile Dundee- the beloved fictional character who first appeared in the eponymous movie released back in 1986.
The golfer donned a khaki vest, shark tooth necklace and black akubra hat for the festivities.

A large knife also protruded out from the front of his pants.
And proving ultimate commitment to his outfit, the Mount Isa born star lathered on a layer of fake tan in order to duplicate Dundee’s sun-drenched complexion.
Both Greg himself and the character of Crocodile Dundee are both widely considered Australian icons- making the golfing great’s party look an undisputed hole in one.

Even Greg’s wife Kirsten (nee Kutner) got in on the act, dressing up as Dundee’s flame, Sue Charlton.
The 49-year-old brunette stunned in a sleeveless olive green dress that showed off her incredible physique.
The festive bash, held at the sprawling Hobe Sound resort that Greg founded in 1995, was an ode to his home country.
Australian flags and Aboriginal artworks were also seen adorning the walls at the lavish event.
