Greg Shepherd proudly shows off his hair transplant results as he sports full head of brown hair

Billie Faiers’ husband Greg Shepherd showed off the results of his hair transplant on Instagram on Friday after undergoing the procedure earlier this year.

The Family Diaries star, 37, opted for the surgery after noticing he was going bald when he shaved his head for charity last year.

Taking to his Instagram Stories this week, the television personality could be seen smiling as he showed off a much fuller head of hair alongside a snap of himself with a shaved head with a white line drawn on his head to mark his new hairline ahead of the procedure.

Greg first let fans know he’d had the procedure in January this year after visiting a clinic favoured by celebrities, KSL Clinic.

The reality personality first sparked speculation he had received a hair transplant when his wife Billie, 32, shared a picture of him on her Instagram in January.

Greg then confirmed he had the procedure and joked that he didn’t want to look like his father who is balding.

In a video, Greg said: ‘I looked at my father who is bald completely here and thought you do not want to look like your dad! So I’ve come to KSL to save me from that.’

Greg attended the Kent branch of the clinic for a consultation with Surgical Director, Dr Matee Rajput, where he was accompanied by wife Billie.

Greg said his hair concerns stemmed from shaving his head for a charity event in 2019 where he raised an astonishing £42,000.

He said: ‘I recently had to shave my head for a charity event, and realised I was going bald. It took a lot longer for the hair on the top of my head to grow back!’

Some of Billie’s previous TOWIE co-stars have also visited KSL Clinic for treatment, this includes James Lock and newcomer Love Island winner, Jack Fincham.

Greg joked that he may even ‘grow a ponytail’ since he has the option to now.

The video ends with Greg smiling at the camera and says: ‘In a few months I’m going to have a full head of hair’.

Greg sparked speculation he’d had a hair transplant as eagle-eyed fans spotted he was sporting a new buzz cut in Billie’s 32nd birthday post.

The businessman usually has a head of dark locks but in the family shot he looked very different as the couple and their two children posed in bed.

He said: 'I recently had to shave my head for a charity event, and realised I was going bald. It took a lot longer for the hair on the top of my head to grow back!'

The treatment is very popular with men, and is considered a permanent fix to balding or thinning hair.

A hair transplant in the UK can cost anywhere between £1,000 and £30,000, depending on the extent of hair loss.

It comes after the Greg and Billie’s daughter Nelly broke her arm.

Billie, who is currently pregnant with her third child, explained she had a ‘rough 24 hours’ following the accident, but praised Nelly, eight, for being ‘so brave’.

The TV personality captured a picture of her daughter asleep with a black sling around her neck holding her arm up, which she posted to Instagram on Sunday.

It is not known how Nelly sustained her injury, but she is a keen horse rider and is regularly seen at the stables on Billie’s Instagram.

Billie wrote: ‘It’s been a rough 24hours… my poor little lady broke her arm yesterday. She has been so brave, lots of cuddles and rest.’

Earlier in the day, Billie shared a stunning selfie with her Family Diaries co-star husband Greg, 37, as they celebrated ’11 years together’.

She looked incredible in a bright blue round neck top while her beau cut a dapper figure in a white linen shirt.

The couple both sported large dark sunglasses in the selfie and Billie slicked her blonde tresses up in a chic do.

In a second pictured the couple beamed with Nelly, who hugged her blossoming baby bump and their son Arthur, five.

Billie looked radiant as she showed off her bronzed tan in a vibrant orange figure-hugging dress showing off her growing bump.

She wrote: ’11 years together … Forever to go. Very excited for our next chapter… love you my sweets. Happy Anniversary.’
