Gregory Itzin, who played the villainous President Logan on 24, is dead at age 74  

Gregory Itzin, the actor who played a hapless Vice President and eventually the leader of the free world on Fox’s hit series 24, has died at age 74.

The news of Itzin’s death appeared to have first been shared by his former 24 producer Jon Cassar, who shared a tribute to his friend on Twitter early on Friday.

‘My friend Greg Itzin passed away today. He was one of the most talented actors I had the honor to work with, but more than that he was an all around great guy,’ Cassar wrote.
