The niece of ABC chairperson Ita Buttrose was allegedly bashed by a man before sharing pictures of herself online with a bloodied nose.
The former Sydney socialite and one-time Real Housewives star Lizzie Buttrose shared a picture of her bloodied nose and chin to social media over the weekend.
Ms Buttrose’s caption accused the man who assaulted her of being ‘pure evil, allegedly’.
Friends of Ms Buttrose commented on the confronting pictures, asking whether the 54-year-old was ‘all right’.
Ms Buttrose has since removed the post and instead, been sharing pictures of her pet parrot Louis.

In 2017, Ms Buttrose allegedly claimed she was assaulted by her ex-fiance Zoran Mijadzevic.
Police granted an apprehended violence order (AVO) on behalf of Ms Buttrose following the allegations against the cage fighter.
At the time, police alleged Mr Mijadzevic backhanded Ms Buttrose across the face, defaced a piano and smashed a hole in a wall at the pair’s Vaucluse home.
Ms Buttrose fought the AVO. Police were called to the couple’s home 13 times over a period of 10 months.
Mr Mijadzevic, who was the seventh man Ms Buttrose had been engaged too, was not charged and is not alleged to be the person responsible for the recent assault.
