Guess who! Do you recognise this emo teenager who went on to become a top reality star?

She’s the ambitious broadcast journalist who leveraged a stint on reality television into A-list fame.

But fans would be hard-pressed to recognise this reality TV diva in a series of throwback snaps shared to social media this week.

The images show an awkward teenager going through an ’emo’ phase, which is a far cry from the polished professional that now graces TV screens and red carpets across the country.

Who’s that girl? An awkward teenager performing Avril Lavigne’s ‘Sk8er Boi’ at a high school concert in this throwback snap is now an A-list weather presenter and reality TV star

The young woman in the photos is none other than TV journalist and weather woman Georgia Love, who shot to fame on the second season of Channel Ten’s The Bachelorette.

While the 29-year-old is now known for her safe and conservative style, throwback photos of Georgia as a teenager show her with a more dishevelled emo image that was popular in the early 2000s.

In one image, the reality TV star wears baggy jeans and a black midriff top while performing Avril Lavigne’s ‘Sk8er Boi’ at a school concert.

Georgia, who now has honey brown locks, sports a jet black mop of hair and heavy overdrawn eyeliner in the photo.

In another throwback snap from her first school formal, a youthful Georgia is surrounded by a group of suited men in a precursor to her future reality TV career.

‘This photo of me in training for The Bachelorette,’ she wrote on Twitter.

Since her awkward teen years, Georgia has blossomed into a media personality with her finger in many different pies.

In addition to her stint on The Bachelorette, the ambitious star has worked as a newsreader and TV journalist.

She also enjoyed a casual gig as one of the presenters on daytime talk show Studio 10, and has now scored a temporary role as a weather presenter on Channel Ten’s Eyewitness News.

Thanks to her media profile and almost 200,000 Instagram followers, Georgia has also been able to secure a role as an ambassador for budget beauty brand Palmer’s.

She’s also a fixture on the red carpet, appearing at the Logie Awards earlier this month in an outdated 80s style frock.

Despite Georgia not being nominated at the ceremony, her fellow Bachelor franchise stars Matty ‘J’ Johnson and Sam Frost both received nominations.
