Guess who! Do you recognise this TV star as a young Tai chi student?

His reality TV romance left the nation swooning back in 2013.

But this 34-year-old chiropractor was a long way from breaking hearts in a childhood snap posted to Instagram on Thursday.

While he’s now a household name, the photo offered a glimpsed of the former Bachelor star’s humble beginnings in Newcastle, NSW.

Guess who! He’s the reality TV hunk whose romance left the nation swooning… but would you recognise him from this childhood snap?

The boy in the photo is, of course, Tim Robards.

In the snap, a young Tim is shown practicing the art of Tai chi alongside his grandmother.

He shared the photo to celebrate International Women’s Day and paid tribute to his ‘late granny’.

Tim wrote in the caption: ‘This is a photo of me and my late granny, Doreen.

‘Doreen is one of the strongest. I was going to say women, but she was probably the strongest person I have ever met (sorry mum and dad but I think you will agree).

‘(She had) the heart and ferociousness of a lion balanced by the tenderness of a loving grandmother.’

He continued: ‘(She) taught me the power of a healing touch, opened my eyes to looking for the magic in the sun bursting out of the ocean, the healing powers of the purple jacaranda tree… and wearing pink while doing Tai chi makes you as much of a man as wearing a footy jersey.

‘Although you can’t see it, Doreen lives on inside me, and is so much of who I am today… So blessed to still have you in my life, you never really left!

‘I think we are all made up of equal parts of all the men and women in our lives, and today we celebrate those amazing women and I say… thank you!’
