Guess who! He’s the brother of a famous musician

His brother gained worldwide notoriety as the lead singer of an English rock band.

But despite falling in the shadows of his famous sibling, this musician and journalist made a bold arrival at Tuesday’s Melbourne Cup.

The international guest at Australia’s annual racing event, clad in a mismatched floral dress shirt and plaid suit, has been married for 36 years and is a father-of-five.

So can YOU guess the identity of this colourful character?

Do YOU know who this is? He’s the brother of one of the world’s most famous men…but this colourful character blends into the background at Tuesday’s Melbourne Cup

The gentleman in question at this year’s Melbourne Cup is Chris Jagger, the younger brother of Rolling Stones lead singer, Mick Jagger.

Chris, 69, appeared in high spirits at Flemington Racecourse, happily posing for photos in front of the Lavazza media wall.

The versatile artist – who has released 12 albums of his own, his most recent being 2017’s All The Best – made a style statement in a mismatched ensemble.

Chris opted for a multi-coloured floral dress shirt, teamed with a green and red plaid suit.

Accessories consisted of green distressed leather dress shoes, a brown leather belt and gold-rimmed sunglasses.

Chris revealed what it’s like to live in the shadows of Mick, telling the UK’s Independent in 2004: ‘Having someone like Mick as a brother gives you a standard to live up to.

‘But you also know what’s going to happen if you put a record out – they are going to compare it to what Mick has done. The Rolling Stones are a brand and they are stuck with it. I have always had more freedom and I could do whatever I liked.’

Content in living without the intense media glare, Chris admitted: ‘Quite honestly, I think it would be a nightmare having that kind of scrutiny (as Mick). When you’re that big, your attention is so divided and you just can’t be an ordinary person.’

Mick, 74, whose career spans over five decades, rose to international fame as the lead singer in English rock band, the Rolling Stones.

Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989, Mick has also forged a career as a solo artist and in 2003 was knighted for his services in the music industry.

His personal life has also come to headlines, sharing eight children with five different women.
