Guess who! Iconic singer looks unrecognisable at Gold Coast airport as he rehearses lines for his new movie with Chuck Norris, Vanilla Ice and Sophie Monk

An iconic singer looked almost unrecognisable as he stepped out to film at a Gold Coast airport on Monday morning.

The world-famous hitmaker was spotted on the tarmac rehearsing lines for his upcoming movie with Chuck Norris, Vanilla Ice and Sophie Monk.

He is set to make a cameo appearance as himself in the Australian action comedy film Zombie Plane and appeared hard at work learning his lines before filming.

During the sighting, the Irish-born star looked strikingly different as he sported a pair of statement aviator shades while getting into character as himself.

Looking worlds away from his usually suave attire, he cut a vibrant figure in a bright orange and blue shell suit as he channelled 90s fashion.

He completed his laidback ensemble with a pair of chunky high top trainers as he read his lines ahead of filming scenes for the release.

He is currently Down Under filming for comedy movie Zombie Plane, which stars a whole host of celebrities as fictitious versions of themselves.

It is not his first link to Australia as he appeared as a breakfast host on new start-up network Disrupt Radio in Melbourne last year.

But can you guess who it is?

That’s right, it’s Bob Geldof!

The Boomtown Rats rocker is known for his usually suave appearances and cut a dapper figure at Brisbane International Film Festival over the weekend.

While filming Down Under, he stepped out at the premiere of The Red, which sees a killer zombie kangaroo start causing terror in a remote Australian town.

The movie stars the likes of Aaron Pederson, Tess Haubrich and Angie Millikan and is slated for release on October 31.

While Bob is not starring in The Red, he is currently filming his very own zombie movie Down Under.

He will play a comedy fictitious version of himself in Zombie Plane along with Love Island Australia host Sophie Monk, American rapper Vanilla Ice and actor Chuck Norris.

The film sees passengers on a plane flying from Sydney to Los Angeles become infected with zombie viruses.

The group of celebrities must then team up in a bid to contain the outbreak as the US Air Force attempts to shoot the plane down from the sky.

The comedy action movie, which is being filmed in Brisbane, is slated for release in 2025 and has been directed by Lav Bodnaruk and Michael Mier.
