And now Sophie Monk has shared a gorgeous throwback image of her self as a budding showbiz superstar.
Taking to Instagram the 44-year-old posted a picture of her TV debut of over three decades ago on a talent show.
In the image a 12-year-old Sophie can be seen belting out a tune in a bizarre outfit consisting of a pair of short shorts, a bright orange top and a jacket made of feathers.
The young singer also wears a feathered white ‘crown’ in her hair.

Sophie wore the get-up for an appearance on Channel Nine’s New Faces talent show hosted by the late Bert Newton 32 years ago.
In the caption Sophie explained that the outfit was supposed to be ‘an ugly duckling’.
‘Can anyone share their most embarrassing pre-pubescent story to make me feel better?’ she joked in the post.
‘Being a duck on TV wasn’t great for high school. I was picked on forever.’

It comes after Sophie lit up the internet with a recent photo that has had fans go wild.

The image went viral after it was featured on popular snark account Celeb Spellcheck.
The image captures Sophie taking a smoko break while resting on a recycling bin with her Louis Vuitton handbag, proving she will always be ‘bogan babe’ at heart.
The post caught the attention of Monk herself, who cheekily commented alongside it: ‘Those Ugg’s are fancy as f**k’.
Followers quickly took to the comment section to praise Monk’s ability to poke fun at herself.
‘Always a fashion trend setter,’ joked drag queen Carla from Bankstown, while a second person added: ‘This needs to be framed and hung at Parliament House.’
‘It’s the Louis Vuitton bag on the bin for me,’ a third person quipped.
The hilarious photo was snapped in August 2014 as Sophie enjoyed a short break while moving house in Sydney while wearing jeggings and Ugg boots.
