A gunman remains on the run after a drive-by shooting in a suburban street in Sydney’s west.

Emergency services were called to Henry Street in Guildford shortly after 4am on Tuesday morning after multiple shots were fired at a parked vehicle.

Three men were sitting in the white Mercedes Benz when the vehicle was peppered with several bullets.

The driver and his two passengers all aged in their 20s were shaken but escaped uninjured.

The unknown gunman fled the scene and remains at large.

Detectives have blocked off a Guildford street following an early morning drive-by shooting

Multiple police crews attended the scene and will remain there throughout the morning.

Part of Henry Street remains cordoned off as forensic officers collect and scour for evidence.

‘A crime scene has been established and police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident,’ a NSW Police statement read.

Police are investigating whether a burnt-out vehicle found 15km away in Cartwright shortly afterwards is linked to the drive-by shooting.

Anyone with information is urged to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers.
