When staff was led to UAB Police headquarters, a woman was said to have had a panic attack and needed to be examined by medics.

For Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service Capt. Harold Watson, the shooting proves the need for more active shooting training for first responders. The general public needs to be more aware, he added.
