A shopping centre was plunged into chaos on Thursday after a man pulled out a replica gun and held it to a woman’s head.
Video taken at Bentley Shopping Plaza in the south of Perth shows a man striding past shops and holding the Glock out in front of him.
Shoppers – unaware that the pistol is a replica – are seen scattering as the man points the weapon at a security guard.

He then held the gun to a terrified woman’s head, 7 News reported.
The incident, at about 2pm, ended when a hero bystander tackled the man to the ground.
The man was arrested but is yet to be charged.
Detectives will allege the man pointed the replica gun to a woman’s head before he attempted to steal her car.
They will also allege he stole alcohol.
Police said the replica firearm was held together with tape.
