Guy Fieri delivers stunned reaction to Jaylen Brown’s game-tying shot as celebrity chef is featured courtside during Celtics-Pacers – days after revealing his 30lb weight loss

Celebrity chef Guy Fieri delivered a stunned reaction after Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown swished a corner 3-pointer to send Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Indiana Pacers to overtime.

Brown hit the clutch shot from the corner to tie the postseason contest. As Brown walked back on the court pumped up, Fieri looked on in amazement from courtside at Boston’s TD Garden.

Fieri is best known as a host on Food Network of several shows including all 48 seasons of ‘Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives’ and ‘Tournament of Champions’.

The 56-year-old Fieri, who rose to fame by winning ‘Next Food Network Star’ in 2006, also recently revealed he has lost 30 pounds since 2020 with his new workout regimen.

By working in the food industry, maintaining a healthy weight is a deceptive challenge. Fieri has found his groove to buck that trend.

In speaking with Men’s Health, Fieri said that his personal trainer Scott Butler put him on a program that included the aforementioned methods as well as practices such as rucking, using a sauna and a cold plunge.

The Columbus, Ohio native said he gained momentum amid the process: ‘Once I started getting more serious about that, the quantity of food I was eating, and exercise, it really changed the whole thing.’

‘It wasn’t as gnarly as you might think … I’m not a big breakfast fan,’ he said.

The TV personality, who is father to sons Hunter, 27, and Ryder, 18, with spouse Lori, 52, said that 15 minutes in the sauna and three of a cold plunge are ‘a daily reset’ that helps keep him on task.

Rucking is a practice in which a person walks or runs with a weighted backpack or vest on; Fieri said he does this in the hills around his home multiple times weekly.

Fieri said that around 2018, he noticed he was getting winded on his hunting outings with his son, and two years later, he began working with Butler.

His fitness routine with Butler included exercises such as burpees, squats and presses, as well as routines with medicine ball throwing and ropes.

Brown’s heroics helped the Celtics win Game 1 in overtime instead of handing home-court advantage to the Pacers.

Fieri is an avid sports fan and has participated in plenty of cooking shows involving tailgating and foods that someone would eat while watching sports.

Fieri’s signature dishes include his trash-can nachos, which comes served in a metal  cylinder.

Game 2 between Indiana and Boston takes place Thursday night.
