Guy Ritchie puts on a dapper display alongside his son Rocco as they enjoy a rare night out

Guy Ritchie put on a stylish display alongside his son Rocco as they enjoyed a rare night out in London on Thursday.

The pair enjoyed a lavish dinner at private members’ club Oswald’s, cosying up for pictures as they left the swanky establishment.

Guy – who is reportedly being sued over claims his movie The Gentleman includes plagiarised scenes – looked in good spirits despite his alleged legal woes.

The BAFTA nominated director, 54, looked dapper in a navy jacket that he layered over a khaki shirt and black trousers.

He finished his look with a white and beige pocket square and beige shoes as he walked with his arm around his son’s shoulders.

Meanwhile, the son of Guy and Madonna, 22, looked suave in a black blazer and tie, which he paired with a blue and white striped shirt and brown trousers.

Known for his love of vintage fashion, Rocco sported a bold handlebar moustache and finished his ensemble with black loafers.

Rocco quietly established himself as an expressionist painter under the name Rhed last year.

He has had three exhibitions at the Chelsea art gallery, Tanya Baxter Contemporary, since 2018.

The budding artist kicked off his career at age 17 – studying at Central Saint Martins and the Royal Drawing School in London – and his work now sells for five figures.

His bio on London’s Tanya Baxter Contemporary gallery website states: ‘Rhed is a young emerging artist whose cultural background is diverse and unconventional.

‘His childhood was spent between New York and London which have given him an eclectic and diverse artistic background.

‘Society conflicts such as the obsession with social media, fixation of celebrities & labels and generational problems such as drug abuse and depression are subjects that he approaches in a coded fashion.

‘It is almost as if the artist uses the paintings to act as a spokesman for the millennial generation who have overdosed on a toxic society.’

Rocco recently credited his celebrity parents for raising him in a ‘creative household’ that has now led to a promising art career.

He has developed a reputation as a talented painter and has even co-founded his own gallery called Maison Rhed, the name he used as an alias Rhed at the start of his career.

Speaking to Vogue Hong Kong, Rocco told how, although neither of his parents are painters, they fostered a love of art in him from a young age.

He said: ‘It certainly helped growing up in a house that was passionate about art and culture.

‘Neither of my parents are painters, but both are artists in their own right and they taught me to appreciate and respect it.

‘Their shared fascination eventually piqued my interest and since I can remember I’ve always been surrounded by it.’

The young artist insisted that he is proud of all of his famous parents achievements but wanted time to develop as a painter without ‘public judgement’.

He said: ‘Rhed is just a name. The only real meaning and importance of that were so my life and my career weren’t confusing each other, especially at a point where I haven’t earned the title yet.

‘It’s not that I don’t feel proud to be who I am, on the contrary, I couldn’t be prouder of my parents and what they’ve achieved and in turn taught me.’

Elsewhere, Guy is reportedly being sued over his film The Gentleman after actor and writer Mickey De Hara claimed it reproduced sections of a script previously submitted to the film director.

The Gentleman tells the story of cannabis mogul Mickey Pearson (Matthew McConaughey) who attempts to sell off his profitable marijuana empire as he settles into his retirement.

In a lawsuit filed at the London High Court last month, seen by Variety, Mickey claims Guy commissioned him to write a sequel to his 2008 flick RockNRolla based on his ‘personal life experiences’, with the writer previously convicted of possession of cocaine and cannabis with ‘intent to supply’ for which he faced a spell in prison.

However, it is claimed Mickey was told by Guy ‘the time of the gangster movie was over’ after he submitted the script which told the story of a man who ran a marijuana business in 2018, with the project not being developed.

Two years later The Gentleman was released and Mickey claims the movie was a ‘substantial’ rework of his script.

The lawsuit claims The Gentleman copies Mickey’s cast and characters, and ‘unique aspects of the plot’.

Mickey claims his script featured a character called The Coach who led a group of tearaways called The Baby Squad, while in The Gentleman the character of Coach (Colin Farrell) leads a gang of fighters called The Toddlers.
