Guy Sebastian splits with manager Titus Day after 12 years

They have worked together for the past 12 years.

And Guy Sebastian has parted ways with longtime manager Titus Day in an ’emotional meeting’, according to The Daily Telegraph.

Titus, who has also stopped guiding the career of Guy’s stylist wife Jules, told the newspaper on Sunday he was ‘very sad’ to split with his top-tier client.

‘After 12 great years together I’m very sad to be losing Guy as a client,’ he stated. 

‘But he is a wonderful talent and a good person, so I wish him well in everything he does,’ he continued.

The successful duo worked together since 2005, two years after Guy triumphed as winner of Australian Idol.

Guy, who has the highest certifications and sales of any Australian Idol contestant, experienced a number of his career highlights with Titus as his manager.

The father of two, whose reported net worth is $10 million, saw his 2015 Eurovision song, where he placed fifth, chart in the Top 50 in five European countries.

He also scored seven number one singles during Titus’ tenure as his manager, recording six successful albums and three EPs.

With Seal out as a coach on The Voice Australia, there are rumours Guy will potentially replace him alongside Delta Goodrem, Kelly Rowland and Boy George. 

The powerful vocalist released his eighth studio album, Conscious, earlier this month.

The album peaked at number four on the ARIA Australian Albums chart.
