Gwyneth Paltrow admits she and ex Brad Pitt went to the SAME hairstylist for matching pixie cuts

Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed how she and ex boyfriend Brad Pitt ended up with matching haircuts.

The wellness maven, 48, looked back on some of her most iconic hairstyles while promoting her new GOOPGLOW Restore + Shine Hair Serum in a fun new video on Monday.

During their stroll down memory lane, Paltrow’s assistant Kevin Keating pulled out a photo of her and ex Pitt during the 1997 premiere of The Devil’s Own.

‘Awww, matching haircuts!’ she cooed before revealing: ‘We went to the same stylist for the cut. [Celebrity hairstylist] Chris McMillan cut both of our hair like this.’

McMillian is well known for crafting one of the most recreated styles of the 90s: the ‘Rachel’ cut Jennifer Aniston rocked on the first few seasons of Friends. 

(Aniston was married to Pitt from 2000 to 2005 and has also been called out for sharing hairstyles with her ex.)

Keating wasn’t letting Paltrow off the hook yet, so he asked if they should call her ex to get his side of the story. 

‘No! Why would we call him?!’ she squealed, to which her assistant responded, ‘We’d like to talk about the look!’

The Oscar-winner stamped out the idea, however, saying: ‘No! Nobody asked me about involving Brad Pitt.’

Keating got in the last word though, joking: ‘He’s on my Grindr, though, let me get him that way.’ 

Paltrow and Pitt dated 1994 to 1997 after first meeting on the set of the crime thriller Se7en. 

They were briefly engaged, but the actress said she broke it off because she was not ready to marry at the time. 

‘I think I was a kid and I wasn’t ready. He was too good for me,’ Paltrow told The Howard Stern Show of in 2015. ‘I honestly do think, I was too young and didn’t know what I was doing.’

‘I mean I was 22 when we met and it’s taken me until 40 to get my head out of my ass. You can’t make a decision when you’re 22 years old.’ 

The star went on to wed Coldplay rocker Chris Martin in 2003.

Their relationship famously ran its course by 2016, when Paltrow announced the pair were ‘consciously uncoupling.’

They share daughter Apple, 17, and son Moses, 15 and still co-parent closely.

Paltrow is now married to TV creator/frequent Ryan Murphy collaborator Brad Falchuk, who she met during her guest stint on Glee.
