Gwyneth Paltrow and husband Brad Falchuk shock fans with major news in rare joint video

Gwyneth Paltrow shocked fans on Tuesday by giving them a rare glimpse at her husband of seven years, Brad Falchuk, as they shared major news.

The Oscar-winner, 52, tied the knot with the Emmy Award-winning showrunner in 2018 after she and her ex-husband Chris Martin ‘consciously uncoupled’ in 2014.

Paltrow rarely shares photos or videos of herself with Falchuk, 54, on social media and has kept much of the details about their home life private.

But on Tuesday, she took to Instagram to announce Falchuk as the special guest on this week’s episode of her popular GOOP podcast.

She invited Falchuk — who, like Paltrow, has two children from a past relationship — on the podcast to discuss the ‘rocky’ road to blending their families.

Referring to him as her ‘partner in stepparenting,’ Paltrow filmed a brief video with Falchuk to encourage fans to tune into the new episode.

Paltrow began the joint video by introducing her husband to her 8.7million followers as he sheepishly waved at the camera.

‘I was doing a special podcast about stepparenting, so I asked Brad to join me,’ continued the Shakespeare In Love star, who turned her head to look at Falchuk.

‘And so I did because she asked,’ Falchuk added. The response earned a chuckle from Paltrow.

‘Hope you guys enjoy,’ the actress concluded.

The couple’s fans, followers and friends flocked to the comment section of Paltrow’s video to share their thoughts.

Paltrow’s BFF Jessica Seinfeld — who is married to comedian Jerry Seinfeld — was shocked to see Falchuk make an Instagram appearance.

‘Seeing brad online is akin to spotting a snow leopard in the wild,’ the author, 53, joked. 

Paltrow last posted her husband on social media in honor of his 54th birthday on March 1.

She uploaded three throwback photos of the couple of vacation as she called Falchuk the ‘best boyfriend, husband, friend I could ever hope for.’ 

Meanwhile, fans loved that the couple decided to wear matching outfits for Tuesday’s podcast announcement.

‘You two are twinning! Crew neck couple!’ wrote one Paltrow fan, with another adding: ‘Love you both in matching navy cashmere jumpers.’ 

Viwers also praised Falchuk’s ‘authenticity’ and declared him a ‘nice guy’ just based on his short video with Paltrow.

Falchuk’s 20-year-old daughter Isabella — who he shares with ex-wife Suzanne Bukinik, 55, along with 18-year-old son Brody — also chimed in the comments.
