Gwyneth Paltrow drops career bombshell as she prepares to help Jackie ‘O’ Henderson launch her new business venture Besties

Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed her future plans after building her multimillion-dollar wellness and lifestyle company Goop.

The American actress, 51, told Bustle this week, she would eventually like to enjoy a ‘more relaxed lifestyle’.

‘I will literally disappear from public life. No one will ever see me again,’ she said.

‘We as women are so programmed to be busy. It’s like a badge of honour, and we’ve all bought this thing from the patriarchy hook, line, and sinker that we have to be busy and overperforming.’

The bombshell comes as Gwyneth prepares to help Australian radio star Jackie ‘O’ Henderson launch her business venture, Besties. 

‘I’d like to move into the next phase more from a place of discovery and gentleness. To let life unfold, as opposed to ‘I’m not doing enough,’ Paltrow admitted in the interview. 

She explained she starts to feel ‘anxious’ if she takes a weekend off because she is not used to ‘just sitting down and daydreaming’.

Henderson recently revealed Gwyneth’s pivotal role in her events business’ debut this month.

In a post to Jackie’s official Instagram account in July, she wrote the Oscar winner was ‘coming to Sydney this October for an exclusive visit to the @bestiesau stage.’

And her co-host Kyle Sandilands revealed he played a part in landing the A-lister, by ‘charming’ Paltrow during a dinner in New York.

‘Did she remember the dinner we had with her in New York?’ asked Kyle after his co-host’s bombshell announcement.

‘She did. It was one of the reasons she said yes [to Besties] actually,’ Jackie revealed.

‘Because of my charm?’ asked Kyle, to laughter from Jackie.

‘She knew we’d have a good time on stage together,’ Jackie said, before saying their conversation would cover topics including her Goop business, Hollywood career, and sex.

The event will take place on Friday, October 27.

The radio queen launched the new business with her close friend Gemma O’Neill which ‘celebrates the most important relationship in your life – your best friend’.

Besties appears to be an event-based business which sells experiences for ‘best friends’ to create memories together.
