Häagen-Dazs is releasing a ROSÉ WINE-flavored ice cream in 2020

Cheers, with a cherry on top! Häagen-Dazs is releasing a non-alcoholic ROSÉ WINE-flavored ice cream in 2020

  • The Rosé & Cream flavor will reportedly debut in February
  • It’s the latest addition to the brand’s Spirit Collection

Häagen-Dazs is releasing a rosé wine-flavored ice cream in the new year.

According to the snack food Instagram account Candy Hunting, the brand is set to launch the new Rosé & Cream flavor in February.

But while it promises to taste like a glass of blush vino, it doesn’t actually include enough alcohol to make customers tipsy.

Ready for it? Häagen-Dazs is reportedly releasing a Rosé & Cream flavor in February

Häagen-Dazs hasn’t confirmed the new treat just yet, but Candy Hunting has images of the carton, which features an image of a glass of wine, grapes, and a dollop of cream.

The ice cream is gluten free and has 310 calories per serving, and less that .5% ABV — meaning you’d have to eat about two dozen pints to get the same alcohol as one glass of wine.

But the ice cream is clearly more about the flavor than the booze content, and will be the newest variety that the brand adds to its Spirit Collection.

The Spirit Collection also includes Bourbon Praline Pecan, Bourbon Vanilla Bean Truffle, Irish Cream Brownie, Rum Tres Leches, Stout Chocolate Pretzel Crunch, and non-dairy Amaretto Black Cherry Almond Toffee.

Häagen-Dazs isn’t actually the first brand to make rosé wine ice cream

In 2017, Smitten Ice Cream in California also made a version, using canned rosé from Scribe Winery.

And in 2018, Jeni’s debuted a Frosé sorbet made with actual wine.
