Hackney cyclist launches horrific assault on pedestrians

A cyclist was caught on CCTV breaking a woman’s nose and knocking a man out cold in a violent attack after he crashed into them on the pavement.  

The shocking incident was captured in Hackney, north London, last month and shows the cyclist collide with a group of three pedestrians who were walking back from a night out, sending him to the floor. 

He picks himself up and chases after them to confront them, at which point he begins unleashing a flurry of punches.

A 24-year-old man was punched to the ground, leaving him unconscious, while a 31-year-old woman suffered a broken nose after also being hit in the face.

The suspect then went to retrieve his bicycle and fled the scene in the direction of Islington.

He is described as a black man, aged in his 20s. He was wearing a dark polo shirt and black trousers, and had a distinctive large beard.

The incident took place at around 3am on Sunday, 13 August.
