Hakim Ziyech’s ‘£8m move to Al-Nassr has COLLAPSED

Hakim Ziyech’s £8m move to Al-Nassr has COLLAPSED after a knee problem was raised in his medical… when he was in line to earn £9m net each year!

  • Hakim Ziyech’s move to Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Nassr has broken down
  • The Moroccan is surplus to requirements at Chelsea after failing to impress
  • It is Ziyech’s second failed move this year after a January deal to PSG collapsed

Hakim Ziyech’s £8million move to Al-Nassr is off after concerns were raised following the discovery of a knee problem during his medical.

The Moroccan winger was set for a lucrative pay day in a move that would have seen him link up with Cristiano Ronaldo.

But the nature of the issue makes the possibility of the deal being resurrected remote and leaves his future uncertain with Chelsea keen on seeing him depart.

Ziyech remains surplus to requirements at Chelsea with this deal marking his second failed transfer from Stamford Bridge following the collapse of a prospective January loan move to PSG.

On that occasion Chelsea failed to complete the paperwork on his potential move to PSG before the deadline.

That left the French champions furious, with Chelsea bosses coming under fire for the way they handled negotiations.

Ziyech, who was signed for £33m from Ajax in 2020, played 24 times last season but the majority of his appearances came off the bench.

The 30-year-old still has two years left on his contract, in what has been a dismal spell with the Blues.

Chelsea will now sound out alternative clubs in the hope of finding a landing spot for the winger.

Noni Madueke and Christopher Nkunku are among the players recently signed to replace the Moroccan.

Meanwhile, Al-Nassr agreed a deal with Inter Milan for midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, who opted to join last season’s Pro League runners-up over Barcelona.
