Halle Berry, 58, dishes on her ‘zero sugar’ wellness routine which includes vitamin cocktails and red light therapy

Halle Berry opened up to Marie Claire about her strict wellness rituals.

The 58-year-old actress — who has declared she’s not afraid of aging — told the publication she feels ‘better and stronger’ now than she did in her younger years.

She credits red light therapy, routine gym sessions, and a sugarless diet with keeping her youthful.

‘Age is just a number that they stick on us at birth,’ she told the magazine, adding, ‘I feel like I’m now at the pinnacle.’

To maintain her health, Berry takes ‘a cocktail of vitamins and supplements,’ plus progesterone, testosterone and estriol.

The silver screen siren also uses hot and cold treatments to balance her health regimen.

And for many years she’s leaned on personal trainer Peter Lee Thomas to stay fit for her demanding movie roles.

While working on the boxing film Bruised she practiced jiu jitsu, Muay Thai and Taekwondo.

Berry, who has been diabetic since her early 20s, shared that she has no interest in sugar these days.

‘Sugar is the enemy,’ she said in the magazine profile. ‘You couldn’t put anything sweet in front of me right now and pay me to eat it. I’m just not interested.’

The Catwoman star also discussed the challenge of aging in the entertainment industry.

‘As women, we get defined by [age] way more than men do and sometimes it can debilitate us,’ Halle reflected.

She affirmed, ‘We have to kick that in the face and say, “No, I’m going to do what I can do as long as I feel good doing it!” And that will be whatever I want it to be. I get to define that.’

The mother-of-two stated, ‘So when that [beauty] starts to go, maybe for the first time in my life, people will focus on the other aspects of me that I think are way more interesting.’

She added, ‘It’s an exciting time for a rebirth. It’s not the time to pack it up. It’s the time to ask, “Now that I’m free, what can I do?”‘

On her August 14 birthday she took to Instagram to share a closeup selfie showing off her smooth and clear complexion.

She wrote in the caption: ‘At 58, I’ve learned that less is more! Thank you all for riding with me all these years!’
