Ann Summers has posted a jump in sales as it cashes in on store openings.
The lingerie retailer posted sales of £105million in the year to July 2023, a near 5 per cent jump on the £100million it made the previous year.
The business, which sells adult toys and accessories, made profits of £62million, up from £60million the year before.
Ann Summers is revamping its stores to get more shoppers through doors.
The lingerie firm (which has celebrity brand ambassadors such as model Maura Higgins, pictured) opened four stores over the past year and plans to open more over the next year.
And despite growing its online presence since the pandemic, it said its 86 stores are still the most profitable part of its business.
The firm noted strong demand in the run-up to Halloween but said the cost of living crisis had hit consumers.
