Halsey suffers wardrobe malfunction at amfAR Gala in NYC

She’s known to be fearless with her fashion choices.

But Halsey risked showing off more than she expected as she stepped on to the red carpet wearing a thigh-baring black strapless dress to the amfAR Gala in New York on Wednesday night.

The 23-year-old singer suffered a wardrobe malfunction after an attendee unknowingly stepped on to the train of her long dress.

Halsey showed off her porcelain skin in the strapless black gown which featured a darling sweetheart neckline.

Her sweeping raven-colored dress hugged her slender waistline and featured a nearly hip-baring slit toward the side of the garment.

As she began to walk down the celebrity-filled carpet, a man dressed in a black suit and tie seemed to have accidentally stepped on her long train, revealing more than the Colors singer asked for.

The songstress added inches of height to her petite 5ft4in frame with a pair of towering black platform heels featuring straps around her ankles.

Halsey – real name Ashley Nicolette Frangipane – showed off her vast collection of ink work with black tattoos covering her arms, hands and thigh. 

Her short platinum blonde hair was slicked back behind her ears with voluminous curls on top.

The self-proclaimed beauty junkie reportedly created her own makeup look inspired by Old Hollywood with bright red lipstick, smokey eyeliner and long lashes.

The Bad At Love singer admitted to a large crowd in Central Park during the Women’s March in January that she had also been a victim of sexual assault.

In a poem, Halsey detailed taking a friend to Planned Parenthood after the friend was raped, how a boyfriend forced her to have sex and how she performed on stage while having a miscarriage. 

The New Jersey native also took part in last year’s Women’s March and donated $100,000 to Planned Parenthood – who she addressed helped her in the midst of her own sexual assault experiences.
