Hamish Blake and Andy Lee’s falling out after best mate was not invited to his co-star’s lavish 42nd birthday

Hamish Blake has revealed the surprising reason his long-time comedy partner Andy Lee did not attend his lavish Las Vegas-themed birthday party in Sydney last year.

The Melbourne-born comedian, 42, revealed on the latest episode of his Hamish and Andy podcast that Lee’s invitation got lost in the mail – literally.

‘You were sadly unable to make it. I sent you two emails,’ Hamish told his co-host Andy.

However, Andy, 42, was having none of it, and told his best friend he never received the invite: ‘You didn’t tell me about it!’

The pair then realised the emails must have not gotten through somehow and Hamish expressed his regret his best friend couldn’t make it to the bash.

However, Andy then found out the party was held in Sydney and he was in Melbourne at the time, meaning he wouldn’t have been able to make it anyway.

The best mates quickly put their differences aside after seeing the funny side to the story.

In December, Hamish’s wife Zoë Foster Blake proved yet again she knows how to throw an epic party, when she and her husband Hamish threw a Las Vegas-themed bash to celebrate his birthday and their wedding anniversary.

The beauty entrepreneur, 43, posted several photos of the wild soirée to Instagram and the costumes were nothing short of spectacular.

Zoe channeled the Goddess of Pop, Cher, donning a Bob Mackie-inspired outfit the singer famously wore back in 1978.

She wore a stunning headpiece similar to Cher’s iconic headdresses, along with a flesh-toned bodysuit adorned with crystals.

Meanwhile Hamish transformed into one half of the legendary Siegfried and Roy, sporting a sequinned bomber jacket with a black shirt and silver chain accessories.

The Lego Masters host joked he was either dressed as Siegfried or Roy, the performers famous for using white lions and white tigers in their acts.

The image captured Hamish and comedian Ryan Shelton posing with white faux tigers, a witty nod to the real Siegfried and Roy.

The festive atmosphere was further amplified by a cheeky ‘Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Australia’ sign and roulette tables set up in the couple’s living room.
