Hamish Blake gets hit on the head by son Sonny, 4

Hamish Blake is currently based in New York with wife Zoë Foster Blake and their two adorable children.

And on Friday while at a Yankees baseball game, the comedian shared an hilarious clip to Instagram of Sonny, four, accidentally hitting him on the head with a baseball bat.

The time-lapse video saw the youngster hitting his father in the face while trying to get a ball off a paper cup on Hamish’s head, Robin Hood style.

In the video, slowed down for a more dramatic effect, a casual-clad Hamish, 36, sits on the grass.

Sonny, who sports a polka dot T-shirt, red shorts, Nike sneakers and a black cap, holds a New York Yankees baseball and is in prime position.

Ouch! However during Sonny’s attempt, the paper cup topples over, causing Sonny to accidentally hit Hamish directly in the face

Hamish takes the incident in good humour, writing: ‘I mean, I might be wrong here, but he definitely has a shot to hit the ball off my head but waits until it’s right in line with my face.

‘I’m not imagining that am I? He checks his shot for sure…,’ he adds.

Hamish is currently in New York City with wife Zoë, Sonny, and daughter Rudy, one.

Having also enjoyed recent trips through Europe, Hamish told 9Honey last month: ‘We like travelling as a family and we enjoy the adventure.’ 

The funnyman also joked that while travelling with children can be tricky, he’s been on trips with friends that have proved to be disastrous.

‘I’ve actually got some mates that are probably worse than travelling with my kids sometimes,’ he said.

Hamish wed former beauty magazine editor turned bestselling author Zoë, 38, on December 11, 2012 at Wolgan Valley in the Blue Mountains.

They welcomed Sonny in May, 2014 and Rudy in July, 2017.
