Happiest day of their lives? Eye-catching wedding moments guests will never forget (but not always for the right reasons!)

Everyone aspires for their wedding to be the most memorable event in the social calendar, but unfortunately, things don’t always turn out that way.

My Health Gazette has collated a gallery of wedding fails from around the world, and some of them will have you in stitches.

In one instance, a bridal party posed for a photoshoot with an unusual backdrop of portable lavatories.

And while some of the wedding moments are laugh-out-loud worthy, others edge on mortifying.

Elsewhere, a wedding guest distracted others from the bride’s outfit after she turned up in a white ballgown.

Most people choose to be in nature for their wedding photoshoot, but one unconventional bride and groom opted to take their photos alongside portable lavatories

At another wedding, the couple posed on the beach for photographs after the service, only for a speedo-clad swimmer to photobomb the shot.

Guests also giggled at the customised cookies at one ceremony in the US that seemed to spell out ‘DIE’ given the bride and groom’s initials of ‘D’ and ‘E’.

Elsewhere, a wedding guest asked others on an online chatroom about the best way to stop a ceremony from going ahead.

But instead of speaking out at the right time, the guest questioned whether a smoke bomb might be more effective route, which would certainly make a wedding unforgettable.

Here, FEMAIL looks at the most hilarious and cringe worthy moments captured on the ‘happiest day’ of peoples’ lives…
