It seems his years playing action hero Indiana Jones have rubbed off on Harrison Ford.
When faced with a long wait in a New York traffic jam, the veteran star leapt into action.
A new video has emerged showing the 75-year-old jumping out of his limo and turning traffic cop, as he forcefully directs cars out of a line of traffic which had built up behind a tunnel following a car accident.

Dressed smartly in a suit and sunglasses, the silver fox barked orders at drivers in the waiting cars.
Under Ford’s direction the bewildered drivers each took it in turn to move lanes.
Once his limo had done the same Ford pulled open the door of the still moving vehicle and quickly took his seat.

The video footage shows incredulous pedestrians spotting the celebrity in their midst as they walk past the curious scene.
Ford was on his way to The Carlyle hotel in the city at the time of the incident, and continued his journey after the footage was filmed.
Despite his advancing age, Ford is still very much a working actor, and has just reprised his role as Rick Deckard in the soon to be released Blade Runner 2049 – a remake of the 1982 film.

He has also signed up to appear in the next Indiana Jones film, out in 2020.
Speaking recently Ford said his wife Calista Flockhart still ‘supports’ everything he does, even after he got back into the cockpit after he was involved in an airplane accident in February
He said: ‘My wife still supports me because she knows how much it means to me. Maybe I am stupid, but I haven’t changed anything. I still love flying.’
As for Calista, she said that despite being 22 years younger than her husband, she felt older.
She told Closer Weekly magazine: ‘Harrison and I laugh a lot, and humor is everything to me … The truth is, I sometimes feel very much older than Harrison.’
Next stop: after resolving the traffic issue, Ford continued with his journey to The Carlyle hotel
