From their first night together to their first argument, the new Harry and Meghan Lifetime movie promises to delve into all the pivotal moments of the royal romance.
A new trailer for Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance shows lookalike actors re-imagining the couple’s real-life fairytale from the night they met on a blind date in London to their first official outing together after their engagement.
One scene shows the Duchess of Cambridge intervening to warn Ms Markle about the scrutiny she will face if she continues dating a royal. In a tense moment she asks the American actress: ‘Are you really ready for this?’
Another heated exchange shows Prince Charles accusing Harry of wanting to ‘rock the boat’ with his choice of girlfriend, prompting his son to shout back defiantly: ‘She makes me happy so to hell with tradition.’

Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance will air in the US on May 13, less than a week before the royal wedding at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.
The film stars Murray Fraser as Harry, and Parisa Fitz-Henley, who bears a striking resemblance to the royal bride-to-be, as Meghan.
According to Lifetime, the movie will recreate their relationship ‘from the moment they met after being set up by friends.’
The trailer shows Meghan asking Harry conversationally, ‘What is it you do?’ shortly after the royal arrived for their first date, believed to have taken place at London’s Soho House.

The straightforward question prompts a bashful response from the royal, who says apologetically: ‘I’m kind of the Prince of England’.
A montage of scenes then shows the early months of the whirlwind romance, when Harry and Meghan enjoyed dating and getting to know each other away from the public eye.
In one touching moment Harry turns up unannounced at Ms Markle’s trailer while she is on set filming US legal drama suits.

The couple are also seen lovingly embracing in bed after spending their first night together.
As the relationship becomes more serious, Kate is seen sitting Meghan down for a private conversation, in what appears to be Kensington Palace.
The duchess says: ‘The spotlight around Harry has always been intense. People are going to say all these things and more. Are you ready for this?’
In an emotionally-charged scene, Meghan loses her temper at her royal beau as she reveals she has been ‘trolled’ and received ‘death threats’ after news of their romance began to be made public.
She later questions whether she will ever be accepted as his girlfriend, saying: ‘This cannot be my world… I’m American, divorced, half-black.’
Meanwhile Charles appears doubtful over his son’s intentions, asking him: ‘Is rocking the boat part of the appeal here?’
However Prince Harry remains fiercely certain in the face of any doubt, telling Ms Markle: ‘Let’s find how things are. If anyone can it’s you and me.’
As he presents her with an engagement ring at their cottage in Kensington Palace, he reassures her: ‘I don’t need my life to be this perfect royal picture. I just need you.’
