‘Harvey Weinstein believes Hollywood will forgive him’: says Piers Morgan

Shamed film producer Harvey Weinstein, who has been accused of sexual assault by dozens of women, believes he will eventually be forgiven by Hollywood, says TV presenter Piers Morgan.

In an interview for the May edition of GQ magazine, Morgan, 53, said he had spoken to Weinstein, 66, at the Arizona clinic where he sought treatment.

Gibson hit the headlines in 2006 after unleashing an anti-Semitic tirade during his 2006 arrest for drink-driving. 

But he bagged a best-director nomination for his film Hacksaw Ridge in 2017. 

In a statement, Weinstein admitted speaking with Morgan last year, but insisted: ‘I did not talk about business or Hollywood. My priority is my family.’ 

Weinstein denies all allegations of non-consensual sex.
