Blood curdling screams can be heard in the horrific footage of a 15-year-old girl being electrocuted after she walked along a footpath in wet socks.
Anna Lambden was walking home after a party on the weekend when she ditched her shoes for much comfier socks only to be left terribly electrocuted.
The teenager was walking towards the train station at Haymarket, in Sydney, when she was shocked at the Ultimon Road and George Street intersection.

Ms Lambden can be heard a calling ‘Help! Call an ambulance!’ in the distressing footage recorded by bystanders.
The haunting screams could be heard as shocked pedestrians tried to help the young girl – who described the sensation being like pins and needles.
Someone nearby tried to help Ms Lambden but also received a shock when she touched the girl’s arm and so called an ambulance.
The 15-year-old was rushed to hospital and was met by her concerned mother, Viola Morris, where her heart rate was monitored before she was released hours later.
‘For all the crazy things kids do, I’m wild with rage that something as innocent as taking off boots to walk in socks could have killed her,’ Ms Morris told 7News.

‘She was distraught. She called me while she was waiting for the ambulance and she thought she was going to die,’ her mother said.
‘She could feel the electricity pulsing through her. She didn’t know what it was. No one could touch her … no one could comfort her.’
Ms Morris said Sydney Transport have confirmed there was a loose connection in relation to construction for light rail in the area.
‘I can’t believe it — it could have been catastrophic,’ she told the Daily Telegraph.
‘How can this happen in Sydney — it’s not a third world country. The Premier needs to be accountable.

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian and Transport Minister Andrew Constance have launched an inquiry to look into the incident that lead to Ms Lambden’s serious injuries.
Transport Minister Andrew Constance has appointed the secretary of the department to investigate the accident, who will be acting independent of any third parties involved.
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said the incident was unacceptable and described it as ‘appalling’ and ‘absolutely devastating’.
‘No pedestrian anywhere around a construction zone, no matter what project or incident it is, should have to face that risk,’ she told reporters in Sydney on Tuesday.
