Well before the Bachelorette finale aired, multiple reports claimed Sophie Monk and Stu Laundy’s relationship was fake.
An insider even alleged to Daily Mail Australia the so-called lovers were contractually obligated to keep up appearances until the Melbourne Cup.
Their actions followed that narrative: seemingly debunking split rumours via a series of well-timed PDA displays leading up to the event – but where have they been since?
Is this the breakup? Sophie Monk and Stu Laundy split rumours have been renewed, as the pair haven’t been seen together since their relationship contract ‘ended’ at The Melbourne Cup
After becoming the first Bachelorette or Bachelor couple not to flaunt their love at the November 7 event, they’ve been spotted ‘together’ just once.
And that came in the form of an Instagram story post on November 8, that saw them competing in a hilarious dance-off.
What’s more, the pair never actually appear on camera together in that clip, making it possible – though unlikely – they weren’t even in the same room together.
Another possibility is the pair could have simply filmed the video at an earlier date and kept it in the bank until they needed to use it.

Regardless, their daily couple posts have vanished, with Sophie, 37, currently back spending time with her parents on the Gold Coast.
Stu, 44, hasn’t posted a thing on Instagram since October 30 – the day after he was pictured having a tense exchange with Sophie in an underground car park.

During the row, Sophie was seen looking at her millionaire ‘boyfriend’ with an enraged stare and gritted teeth.
The images seemed to all but confirm the fears of multiple industry personalities who had witnessed them interact.

‘She hates him’: The images seemed to all-but confirm the fears of multiple industry personalities who had witnessed them interact
After their universally panned appearance on The Project, former KIIS FM radio personality Kate Langbroek took to social media to comment: ‘She hates him’.
Meshel Laurie, who conducted that interview, later took to Instagram to support Kate’s claims alongside the caption: ‘Thank God for @katelangbroek!’
Perhaps tellingly, 2Day FM star Em Rusciano had this to say to Daily Mail Australia at Derby Day on November 4: ‘I don’t think her and Stu are together.’
‘And I think that’s probably going to come out in the next few weeks.’
