A parrot has been captured busting a few moves and dancing at a party in Brazil.

Guilherme Barbosa posted the hilarious moment in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, on October 20. 

In the clip, a group of people jump around to the electronic music and wave their arms in the air.

They appear to start chanting to the beat of the song and look up to the vibrant bird which is perched on the wall.

The animal starts swaying its body from side to side before jolting its head and absolutely nailing its headbanging.

Standing poised, the parrot cranes its head and performs a repetitive motion to the rhythm, in the viral clip.

Moments later, a topless guy bounces up and down while donning miniature sunglasses, pointing his finger in the air.

As the parrot stops to catch its breath for a moment, a woman behind the camera and others nearby cheer the animal on. 

 The video sent the internet into meltdown, reaching over three million views on social media.

JohnCarlos wrote on the Tweet: ‘Even the parrot knows what’s good.’

Barreto said: ‘That b*****d is a genius.’

Twitter user Albino said: ‘Man what a wave.’

Meanwhile others appeared more concerned about the parrot’s dancing.

Lana replied to the Twitter feed: ‘Poor old bug, you understand that this is not normal behaviour right? Must be super stressed.’
