‘It is so out of character for Callum to be riding in a fast car,’ read a joint statement by Mr and Mrs Mummery.
‘We just wish that this hadn’t happened and hope that this tragedy can prevent other young individuals making the same mistake.’

‘Whether this was by simply kicking a ball with a six-year-old or fishing with close friends and family.

Callum’s former air force cadet squadron will observe a minute of silence at their next parade
Callum’s former Air Force cadets squadron posted a tribute to their late friend Facebook, where they remembered him as a respected member for three years.
‘During his time with us, he exemplified the cadet experience, embracing the opportunities the AAFC offers and becoming an excellent role model for younger cadets,’ the post said.
‘During our next parade night, we will fly the ensign at half-mast and observe one minute of silence in memory of CSGT Mummery. No doubt his loss will have an impact on many of us for a long time to come.’
