Heart’s Ann Wilson reveals she has finished her cancer treatment and insists ‘chemo is no joke’ as new 2025 tour dates are announced

Heart singer Ann Wilson is offering a health update for her fans, revealing she’s completed her chemotherapy treatment.

The 74-year-old singer revealed in July that she was diagnosed with cancer after having a tumor successfully removed.

She also announced that all touring with Heart would be postponed until 2025 for her to undergo chemotherapy treatment.

The singer took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a captioned voice note for her 198K followers, captioned simply, ‘A health update from Ann.’

The message comes just days after she announced new 2025 dates for the Heart Royal Flush Tour.

‘I know lots of you have been wondering how I’ve been doing. So I thought it’d be best if you heard this straight from me,’ she began in her voice message.

‘I’m doing absolutely fine now but it’s been, to put it mildly, a lot. Chemo is no joke. It takes a lot out of a person,’ she added.

‘And then there’s that two weeks of waiting around for test results, a form of mental torture,’ she continued.

She then addressed fellow cancer survivors, adding, ‘for anyone who’s been through that, I empathize big time.’

‘Luckily for me, when the results finally came, they were the good kind! I’m so excited to share with you that I’m now finished with chemo and I’m officially ready to get ready for the tour in 2025!’ Wilson said.

‘There’s maintenance going forward but I’m told the side effects are much less severe,’ she insisted.

‘The worst is over and I’m thankful for the efficacy of this poison — but it’s more than welcome to get the f— out of my body now,’ she said.

She went on to thank her fans, stating she’s, ‘immensely grateful to everyone who prayed and sent me those good vibes. I’ve so felt your love.’
