Heidi Klum flaunts her sense of style in a colorful coat on set of Germany’s Next Top Model in LA

Heidi Klum put on a fashionable display wearing a colorful coat and a figure-hugging dress as she arrived on set of Germany’s Next Top Model in Los Angeles earlier on Monday.

The 49-year-old talented star is currently the host and judge of the fashion competition series which first aired in 2006, as well as an executive producer.

The former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model has also been busy with other projects, such as being a lead judge on America’s Got Talent: All-Stars, which premiered earlier this month.

Stylish: Heidi Klum, 49, opted for a pop of color as she was spotted on set of Germany’s Next Top Model in Los Angeles earlier Monday

The German-born model, who started her successful career in 1992, was seen outside in sunny California on set while sporting an eye-catching coat that fell down just past her knees.

The fabric contained a colorful pattern with hues of orange, purple and black, while partially covering a form-fitting, purple dress that clung to her fit physique that contained a fuzzy fringe on both the cuffs and bottom hem.

The mother of four completed her overall look by slipping into a pair of black, suede heeled boots that reached up towards her knees for a stylish touch.

Her blonde locks were parted in the middle and flowed down straight past her shoulders, allowing her bangs to lightly fall onto her forehead.

Heidi, who is currently married to Tokio Hotel guitarist Tom Kaulitz, accessorized the outfit with a pair of dainty gold earrings along with a large, gold-chained necklace with numerous embellishments.

The former Victoria’s Secret Angel added a pair of cat-eyed style sunglasses for a finishing touch and to shield her eyes from the bright sunshine.

She was seen being guided on the crowded set and prepared to film a scene for the popular German competition series.

Earlier last year, Heidi had opened up about working on the show, and the positive changes she had implemented during an interview with ET Canada.

‘What I’ve done for the first time [is] I opened the door for casting for all women,’ she explained to the publication.

Heidi continued, ‘So, it doesn’t matter how old, how short, how tall, you know, what the size is. So that’s kind of something that I’m really excited about because, you know, in fashion a lot of things have changed.’

‘So, now I opened the door also to older models because they should also not be forgotten,’ the star later added.

Earlier on Monday, the star expressed her thrill to be back on set of Germany’s Next Top Model and uploaded an Instagram photo series that gave a few behind-the-scenes glimpses of the set and also her vibrant outfit.

Heidi posed underneath what appeared to be a concrete overpass, while bright stage lights and a misty fog surrounded her for a dramatic effect.

The blonde bombshell opted to not add a lengthy caption on the post, and instead excitedly penned to her 10.5 million followers, ‘GNTM 2023,’ referencing to the series.

The businesswoman turned off the comments on her Instagram account, and recently opened up about the decision when talking to Grazia Magazine.

‘Some people say mean things to me. Or else they say mean things to each other, which is in some ways worse,’ the TV personality explained, adding, ‘That’s why I’ve had to turn the comments off on my social media.’

‘The planet is big enough for everyone as long as you’re not hurting anybody. They should take their negativity elsewhere because I am definitely not trying to tell any woman they need to be this or that. That’s not me,’ Heidi further expressed.

She also discussed her own sense of style and how she enjoys getting glammed up for work and events. However, at home, she doesn’t mind opting for comfort. ‘Yes, the coiffed woman is Heidi but at home I put a clip in my bangs and become Helga, and that is the real me, more chilled and relaxed.’

Aside from her various projects in the entertainment industry, the star also focuses on her family. Her oldest daughter, Leni, 18, has been following in her own footsteps and has been pursuing her passion for modeling while also attending college in New York City. She welcomed Leni with her first husband, Ric Pipino.

Heidi also shares three children, sons Henry, 17, and Johan, 16, along with daughter Lou, 13, with singer Seal. During the course of their marriage, Seal had legally adopted Leni as his daughter.

Following their divorce in 2014, the supermodel later tied the knot in 2019 with musician, Tom Kaulitz.
