Helen Flanagan put on a chic display as she joined MAFS UK’s Erica Roberts at the Hada Labo Tokyo Event during British Beauty Week on Thursday.

The former Coronation Street actress, 33, wore a fur-trimmed Afghan coat with a floral pattern as she stepped out to the National Theatre in London.

She layered over a brown top and matching trousers, topping her look off with some Ugg boots.

Erica, 25, looked incredible in a cream corset top that she teamed with a pair of deep red leather-look trousers.

The TV personality boosted her height with metallic stilettos and flashed a smiled while posing for photos outside.

Helen’s outing comes after she apologised to her children in a post on Saturday night about how she feels she is not the mother that she had hoped to be.

The actress, who has three children with her ex Scott Sinclair, uploaded the reflective post to her Instagram Story.

The post, originally from the pregnancy and motherhood app Peanut, discussed the challenges of motherhood and Helen acknowledged that some days, she wasn’t the mother she aspired to be and felt overwhelmed.

It also emphasised the importance of apologising and starting afresh when needed and embracing imperfections.

It read: ‘I’m okay with saying sorry to my kids, because some days I’m not the mother that I want to be.

‘Some days I’m touched out and overwhelmed. I’m far from perfect and I want my kids to know that’s okay.

‘You can apologise and start again. We all have our moments, but we got this.’

Helen often faces criticism for her choice of clothing and revealing photos, with some online commentators accusing her of being inappropriate due to her role as a mother.

Helen however is not afraid to hit back at the trolls who mum-shame her over her sexy posts on Instagram saying that she sees her saucy photos as ‘women empowerment’.

Speaking to The Sun at the Pride of Britain Awards she said: ‘It’s because I like to dress sexy, it’s silly.

‘I’m very much for women empowerment. I like women to feel confident, and I think women should celebrate ourselves.’
