Helen Skelton looks stylish in a frilled denim dress

Helen Skelton looked pretty in a summery denim dress as she stepped out at BBC Morning Live in Manchester on Friday.

The TV presenter, 39, stepped out in the dress with frilled detailing and buttons front the front of the garment, teamed with a pair of grey stilettos.

The mother of three wore her hair slicked back in a bun, teamed with a full face of make-up and a pair of gold hoop earrings.

Helen looked in great spirits as she flashed a beaming smile to the cameras before strutting into the building for an appearance.

The outing comes after Helen took to social media on Wednesday to share an International Women’s Day post with her 14-month-old daughter Elsie Kate. 

The presenter appeared to be making an aimed statement while sharing her hopes for the little one to ‘act with integrity’ and ‘lift other women up’.

It came just days after her ex-husband Richie Myler posted a celebratory post of his own with his pregnant girlfriend Stephanie Thirkill.

Helen announced her split from rugby league player Richie, 32, in April 2022, as it was reported that he had embarked on a relationship with Stephanie, also 32, during the marriage.

Six months later, it emerged that the new couple were expecting their first child together , with Richie cradling his girlfriend’s bump in a beaming black and white snap this week.

Helen appeared to be making a statement with the post, where she shared her hopes for daughter Elsie, who she welcomed in December 2021, just months before her husband left the family.

Celebrating International Women’s day, Helen, who is also mum to Ernie, seven, and Louis, five, shared that she had gone back and forth on what to say publicly.

She appeared to reference her romantic turmoil with Richie and Stephanie, who were reported to have crossed over their relationship with his marriage – which Richie denies.

Noting to ‘be kind’ and ‘act with integrity’, the caption accompanied a bikini snap from Helen’s recent holiday, bundling up the little one for the sweet picture.

Helen penned: ‘Proscratinated A LOT over what to say/post …. Not my place to tell anyone what kind of woman to be…. But I hope my little lady turns out to be one that lifts other women up. Grateful for the good girls and guys that let them shine in my life. #grateful #internationalwomensday #actwithintergrity #bekind #bebrave #beyou’.

While she also took to her Stories to laud the little one for her ‘bravery’ earlier in the day.

Helen also proved that friendship was key as she went on to shout out all the women in her life, sharing a myriad of snaps with pals and family.

Shouting out her Strictly co-stars, the presenter posted pictures with Kaye Adams, Fleur East, Molly Rainford and Ellie Simmonds.

While her ex-husband prepares to welcome another child, i t appears Helen could be moving on too – after reports circulated this week that she has been ‘going on casual dates’ with Strictly professional Vito Coppola.

Helen was partnered with professional dancer Gorka Marquez , 32, on the last series of the show but it is now claimed she and Italian Vito’s friendship has blossomed.

According to reports, the pair have ‘bonded’ as they travelled on the tour bus between cities.

A source told the Mirror : ‘Helen and Vito were good friends during Strictly, but really bonded on tour.

‘There were two buses for the cast – the party bus and the quiet bus.

‘They spent a lot of time chatting on the quiet bus and getting to know each other. They have a lot in common – a love of the outdoors, for example.

‘Between shows they also spent time together one-on-one, like going for coffee, just the two of them.

‘Then, if the whole group went for dinner, they would sit together, deep in conversation.’

The source added that Helen was keen to stay away from Vito if people pulled out their phones as she did not want to be seen in the background near the dancer if a picture or video was taken.

Richie acknowledged his girlfriend’s pregnancy for the first time on social media with the new post this week, simply captioning a love heart emoji.

Back in autumn 2022, a source told The Sun that Stephanie and Richie are ‘thrilled’ to be expecting their first child, just six months after their relationship came to light.

They added: ‘Stephanie and Richie are obviously thrilled. They have moved very quickly but are extremely happy together.

‘The timing of the pregnancy may raise a few eyebrows though. It is obviously such a huge step, and one made remarkably quickly off the back of Helen and Richie’s eight-year marriage ending.

Stephanie is the daughter of Leeds Rhinos president Andrew Thirkill, who is one of the richest businessmen in Leeds and is worth an estimated £175million.

His relationship with Stephanie came to light in May, days after it was announced that his eight-year marriage to Helen was over .

Helen was said to feel ‘bewildered’ by the breakdown of her marriage, with a source close to the couple telling MailOnline: ‘Helen is absolutely devastated.’

They continued: ‘Now she is contemplating life without him while he has moved on with his new partner.’

‘Richie is insisting there was no crossover, that he began the romance with Stephanie after their marriage collapsed, but Helen feels let down. They are still married, and their baby is literally months old.

‘She thought their marriage was safe and secure and is totally shocked by what’s happened.’
