A Florida man wanted by police for a parole violation ran across a busy highway and even sucked under a semi-truck trailer during a dramatic  

Seminole County Sheriff’s Office released helicopter footage of police chasing suspect Randolph Moses, 28, across eight lanes of Interstate 4 traffic around 12.31 pm on Wednesday.

Moses, who was wanted for a parole violation out of Duval County, was involved in a minor accident and made a run from authorities.

The video captured Moses running across four lanes of eastbound traffic to reach the median. 

Soon afterwards, a sheriff’s deputy approached Moses in a marked SUV and pursued him.

Traffic began to slow at the unfolding incident, but Moses then dove under a semi-truck trailer and continued to weave through another four lanes of traffic on foot.

Several cars were forced to swerve or slow down to avoid striking Moses during the chase.

When he reached the opposite side of I-4, he ran towards a wooded area where he became tangled up in vegetation in a ditch and deputies were finally able to arrest him.

Moses faces multiple charges related to the incident, including leaving the scene of a crash, resisting an officer and fleeing to elude a law enforcement officer.

He was was wanted on a warrant out of Duval County for burglary, battery and resisting an officer without violence. His bond was set at $17,500 but he remains in custody and is due to appear in court on May 28.

In a Facebook post Seminole County Sheriff’s Office said: ‘A suspect wanted out on a parole violation out of Duval County made things a whole lot worse for himself Tuesday. 

’28-year-old Randolph Moses was involved in a minor Sanford fender-bender and bolted. 

‘Our Alert team caught him running out on to I-4, under a semi and into afternoon traffic! 

‘Our deputy on the ground apprehended Moses in a muddy ditch with help from an FWC officer. Great teamwork!.’
