High-ranking Bandidos bikie killed in horror highway crash on Great Western Highway at Prospect in Sydney’s west

A senior figure in the Bandidos motorcycle gang has reportedly been killed in a car accident.

The man, who is yet to be identified, is understood to have been riding his motorbike with another club member when the pair collided with a Mazda sedan just before 1pm on Tuesday on the Great Western Highway, in Prospect, in Sydney’s west.

He had Bandidos markings on the front wheel of his Harley Davidson, the Daily Telegraph reported.

Two motorcycles and the sedan were seen smashed up at the scene.

The other motorcyclist and the driver of the sedan were taken to hospital. 

It’s understood firefighters had to cut the driver of the sedan free from the wreckage, while a tent was set up to cover the motorcyclist killed.

The dead man’s sister posted a tribute on social media. 

‘He didn’t just wear a patch, he was a brother, a dad, a song, a friend and uncle, his sister,’ she wrote.

‘Rest in paradise my brother. I know we didn’t always see eye to eye but that would never change the fact you were my brother and I love you.’

All westbound lanes of the highway and two eastbound lanes were closed following the accident. 

Police and crash investigators remain at the scene.
