- The video has gone viral with many social users blasting the Ford focus
This is the dramatic moment a Ford Focus speeds through a red light and causes a three car pile-up in Melbourne’s south-east.
Dashcam footage shows the silver hatchback crossing a traffic island to overtake a car before flying towards an oncoming intersection.
While the red traffic lights are in full display, the Focus rapidly drives through the intersection – without any attempt to slow down – leading to a messy three-car crash.
Witnesses in the dashcam’s car yelled ‘he’s gonna do a runner’ before meandering through the intersection to block off the driver.

Just moments before, a white car on the adjacent side of the intersection attempted to turn right in the opposite direction of the oncoming Focus.
Yet the Focus comes into the intersection and smashes the white car in a t-bone collision.
The Focus driver seems unfazed and continues on – colliding with another black car on the other side of the intersection.

Social users have blasted the driver of the Ford focus for his reckless driving.
One user said: ‘The footage is conclusive. There should be no paperwork. No charges. The driver should simply be shot on the spot. Case closed.’
Another comment read, ‘Hope the reason the video is cut short is because the dashcam driver and his mate gave the car thief a factory reset.’
