Hilarie Burton claims a ‘creep chick’ who is ‘obsessed’ with her son Gus, 14, has been stealing his identity

Hilarie Burton Morgan is trying to stop a young woman who has been allegedly impersonating her 14-year-old son Gus on TikTok and YouTube.

The One Tree Hill star, 42, posted a screenshot of the offending TikTok profile @AugustusDeanMorganon Instagram and explained what has been going on in the caption. 

‘Hi gang. Need a little help,’ she began, ‘I don’t have TikTok and neither does our son. But there’s this creep chick who is obsessed with him and keeps creating profiles on various platforms.’ 

She joked, ‘I get it. He’s awesome, but she’s a freak for stealing the identity of a 14 year old boy.’

She asked her followers who have TikTok to report the account before adding that she had reached out to the perpatrator’s parents, to her directly and to law enforcement. 

‘Because of certain actions she’s taken, she’s broken laws,’ the mom of two added.

Burton and her husband, The Walking Dead star Jeffrey Dean Morgan, 58, also have a six-year-old daughter named George.

Later, Burton amended her post to share that the TikTok account had been taken down. 

She added: ‘But it linked to a YouTube account where she was also pretending to be Gus. Her name is clearly present on that YouTube account now.’

Burton then addressed the woman directly, writing,  ‘I see H*****. I called your campus police. I’ve reached out to your mother’s church. I’m not f**king around.’

Jeffrey Dean Morgan commented on the post, backing up his wife. 

‘F**kin people. get a life. your own preferably, but for certain, NOT our kids. if not… prepare for morgan wrath, which i promise is not a joke. side note… ITS A COOL FLIP PHONE.’

The laws about online impersonation are fairly new and vary from state to state but generally, impersonating someone else is considered an offense that can be prosecuted.

Burton’s followers agreed that the situation was ‘disturbing,’ in the comments, as one person wrote, ‘Impersonating a child is a whole new level of insanity.’

The post comes just a few days after Burton shared a photos with Jeffrey on Instagram where they were chaperoning one of Gus’ school dances.

‘I had the hottest Homecoming Date at the dance tonight,’ her caption began.
