Hilarious moment student on sled knocks over head teacher

  • A head teacher in Sweden was being interviewed by SVT Västerbotten
  • Siv Stenlund was talking to a reporter and was unaware of the pupil behind her
  • Unable to stop, the student slides down the hill right into the head teacher

This is the hilarious moment a student interrupts their head teacher’s TV interview – by accidentally running them over on a sledge.

Siv Stenlund, head teacher of a language school in Umeå, Sweden, was talking with a reporter about the activities experienced by exchange students visiting her school.

As such, the 61-year-old was engrossed in the discussion and failed to notice the pupil racing down the snowy hill towards where she stood.

The person on the sledge couldn’t seem to control the sled and collided with the teacher.

In the clip, Ms Stenlund fell straight out of view after being knocked down.

But the camera soon followed the teacher and she could be seen looking unimpressed as she tried to get back onto her feet.

‘There was no danger! We had a great day that was not affected by the fall,’ the 61-year-old told SVT.

Students from all around the world, including Spain, Finland, Greece and Northern Ireland, were visiting the city to experience a Swedish winter.

‘This is very exotic for those who come from Spain and Greece and the Netherlands,’ says Siv Stenlund.
