A squirrel was videoed completely ‘stoned’ lying on the floor of the woods after eating a lot of mushrooms.
A woman found a squirrel laying there and at first thought it was injured until she saw the field of mushrooms behind it.
The footage was captioned: ‘This little guy got into the wrong patch of mushrooms and launched into a two-day journey to un-bury the acorns of the cosmos’ obtained by Digg.

The video was taken in a wooded area but it is not known exactly where in the US it was filmed.
The woman narrates throughout the entire clip as she says: ‘So the dogs and I are walking and we find this little guy in the park.
‘And at first I thought he had gotten attacked by a dog or something. He tries to stand up and he flops all over the place and then I saw he had something in his mouth.’

Then she discovered what was actually going on: ‘Then I realized the b***er’s been munching on mushrooms. I’m not sure if those are poisonous or not but they definitely got him in a tizzy.’
She tried to save the little creature and make sure it was safe: ‘So I’m going to try and take him back, see if the doctor can do anything for him.’
The woman laughs at the end of the video as she says: ‘Yeah, he’s pretty stoned. F*****!’
It runs away at one point which is when the woman filming laughs and says: ‘Yeah, he’s pretty stoned. F*****!’
She made sure to take the little creature to a doctor to check it wasn’t poisoned or injured
