Hilarious video shows caddie of PGA Tour golfer Joel Dahmen running 200m street race after mocking 2024 Olympics star Noah Lyles… but what was his time?

Geno Bonnalie, the caddie of golf star Joel Dahmen, put his track skills to the test after mocking Noah Lyles’ performances at the Paris Olympics.

The 40-year-old typically spends his weeks wandering 72 holes carrying the clubs of the world No 186.

This week, Dahmen and Bonnalie are competing at the Wyndham Championship in North Carolina. But when the first round was delayed by a tropical storm, they found other ways to entertain themselves.

In Paris on Thursday afternoon, Lyles failed in his attempt to complete a 100-200m double at the Olympics, taking bronze in the 200m final.

After the race, the Team USA star – who later revealed he was suffering from COVID -needed medical attention on the track.

‘Noah Lyles… “Oh my lungs hurt after running 200m and I’m the best in the world!”‘ Bonnalie said in a video posted on social media.

Dahmen then challenged his caddie to prove how quick he could run 200m. ‘I have the over/under at 32 seconds,’ the golfer said, to which Bonnalie replied: ‘That’s probably close’

So when the storm briefly cleared, they headed out on to the road, with Dahmen filming as Bonnalie ran his own race.

‘I haven’t run 200 consecutive meters since maybe high school,’ the caddie joked. But they even incorporated a bend in the road to replicate Lyles and Co in Paris.

Dahmen drove alongside his caddie, who got up to 13mph and eventually finished in 34 seconds before slumping to the floor.

‘I felt like my boobs were flopping,’ Bonnalie said. ‘Maybe I’ll have salad for dinner… I need a banana and make the cramping stop.’
