Hilary Duff cuts a casual figure as she goes pre-Thanksgiving clothes shopping with her daughter in LA

Hilary Duff looked relaxed as she enjoyed some pre-Thanksgiving shopping with her oldest daughter Wednesday.

The mom of four, 37, who has recovered her curves after giving birth to her youngest six months ago, kept her look casual, wearing an oversized red and tan horizontal striped jersey, straight leg jeans with a rolled up hem and black boots.

Her long, blonde hair featured natural waves and the How I Met Your Father star appeared to be wearing minimal makeup.

Daughter Banks, six, was bundled up in a long lavender sweatshirt and matching joggers with blue shearling boots.

The elementary schooler’s brown hair was styled straight.

Duff was seen carrying a large bag filled with purchases from the children’s clothing store they visited in the Studio City area of Los Angeles.

Mother and daughter seemed to enjoy the bonding experience.

Duff left big brother Cruz,12, from her first marriage to Mike Comrie, along with little sisters Mae, three and Townes, six months, home with dad Matthew Koma.

The influencer, who appeared to be between projects, told Parents magazine that she, like any other mom, struggles to maintain a work-life balance.

‘I read a quote from a CEO who said something along the lines of “Well, the fact is you can’t have it all, “And I was like, “Oh, that sucks. I thought I did have it all.” You just have to pick and choose the timeframe and when you do go back to work, you need to compartmentalize.’ she said explaining what works for her.

‘I think working is so great as a parent. I appreciate my kids so much more when I’ve had adult time, and I’ve used my brain in other ways or my energy towards my art.’

For her, the Lizzy Maguire star said, ‘It’s important that you find those things that make you tick outside of motherhood.’

Referring to Banks, the Younger star said had been her constant shadow for a while.

My Banks just went through this phase where she wouldn’t let me leave the room without telling her. And I’m like, “You’re one of four kids, girlfriend, I can’t tell you my every move.”‘

‘She was having a lot of fear around being alone and I was so frustrated. But we stuck to our plan about how we were going to handle it, and it took two months, but now she’s over it,’ the proud mom explained.

‘Sometimes these moments are just fleeting, and they’re hard, and then the next phase comes. Most of the time it’s positive, and sometimes it’s not.’

‘But time does fly,’ she admitted, ‘so I try to just be in the moment [with my kids]— as cliche as that sounds!’
