Hinchinbrook break-in: Nine men storm into a home and assault two people before fleeing

A manhunt has been launched for a group of nine men who stormed into a home and attacked two residents. 

The gang forced entry into a home on Bower Bird Street in Hinchinbrook, in Sydney’s southwest, just before 10.30pm on Wednesday. 

The intruders assaulted two people inside the home before fleeing on foot. 

One of the occupants was taken to hospital after being treated by minor injuries. 

Eight others inside the single-storey home were uninjured.

Three of the men were armed with guns, which were not used in the attack. 

Police arrived at the home following reports of an aggravated break and enter with a crime scene quickly established at the property. 

An investigation has since been launched with anyone with information urged to contact either Liverpool Police or Crime Stoppers.
